This class is for the little ones.... puppies 6 months and under. There is a lot of focus on developiung the social skills that are vital for puppies well being throughout thier lives. This past pandemic gave birth to a whold slew of what we have coined "pandemic puppies". Dogs that recieve little or no socializing time with other dogs or people outside their own families run the the risk of have some serious issues arise. Such as noise phobias, OCD type behaviors, resource gaurding etc. So I commend anyone considering the training at this age. 

You will also learn all of the basic obedient commands such as sit, down, stay, come when called, leash walking, and leave it. There will also be focus on all of the "issues" that puppies have like house breaking, chewing, play biting, digging etc... We will cover "house manners" such as barking, jumping, taking things. And lastly we will talk about everything related to the health and well being of your puppy from vaccines schedules to parasite preventatives to spaying and neutering. 

The first class I do a ton of talking. It gets rather boring for puppies and they will generally fall asleep. I did offer this firsrt class online but have decided that even if I am talking the whole hour, they can be socializing. I will take this opportunity to discuss and show you how dogs correct, initiate play, end play etc.... all through their actions and body language as well as eye contact and vocals.
